Anyway, that is water under the bridge. My wife and I have 4 biological chidren and we first started out wanting only one child but will now take as many as they will give us (well almost, ha ha). We have taken our homestudy and faxed it to many different states and have inquired about many different children. We have been told that we are one of two families being considered for two boys from MO (we are from AR). We were told that both homestudies and families would go to committee meeting (which we can attend) in late May or early June. The boys are 15 and 13. (our other children are 17,15,12,8). Now to my question. Has anyone worked with the interstate compact of MO or AR? How long does it usually take from committee meeting until placement? The boys are not living together, so does anyone know how visitations would occur when they live two hours apart? I am sorry for taking so many room. We are just full of questions. I know that we are not selected yet but we have a very strong feeling about this and want to be prepared. Thanks.
