Lorraine requests all chatters show up on time so she doesn't have to talk to herself. While she is very interesting and a good conversationalist, she has nothing new to say to herself alone in chat.

Guppy says that Lucy is ugly but that's okay because Lucy's smart. Guppy says Lorraine is pretty. Lucy doesn't care if she's ugly because she lives with crazy people. Lucy did, however, make A's on all her final tests and projects. (And yes, I am aware that I'm referring to myself in the third person. I'm pretending this is someone else's life as it can't possibly be mine )

Zebramom's son won't let her come to Texas. Jenny's bathroom won't let her come to Texas either. We think this is unfair.

SAH, Lylac and Guppy cried over Tx as did 2 other people but I forgot who.

Kburch stayed on chat with me late so we could chat about real life. She knows way to much about life to still be the teenager she is.

Suz was there and ready to be invaded by us. Tybee came to chat and is coming to Texas-yeah!

Lucy's husband cleaned carpets and bought her a ticket to Tx for Christmas/birthday with money he shouldn't have spent but it's way cheaper then the therapy she needs.

Barki came to ask 2 questions as that's all she needed in order to solve all the world's problems.

So all you missing people will need excuses, not naming any names-or are we...Mike, Kerby, Indy, lovinginpink, skirbo, crick(traveling is no excuse), Kay, BD, momraine, etc etc etc-you know who you are.....

I am sorry, I was at church, children's ministry party. What seemed like 600 children, but the director swears there were only 27. Ha, how would she know, she kept leaving to do paperwork and leave me there to run the show with two moms. One of which has only one little girl and seemed frightened by the hyper boys. The other of which planned this, but brought the kids cookies to decorate cookies (giving four year olds one knife to share, not realizing they would lick the knives, till she saw me handing out more plastic knives) and cupcakes, and little debbies, and though she did sever corn dogs and fries, the food was the extent of her planning for a two hour party, that and the gifts. (ornament exchange, which the boys were not excited about) so both moms retreated to the kitchen to discuss what they did wrong, leaving me with all the kids! During most of this time, I was doing everything one handed while holding the five month old I babysat (who's grandparents were late coming for her) who is teething!
I admit I got home in time, but I was too tired to even turn the computer on. Sorry! Maybe next time.

Hey Lorraine, we had a similar night. DH abandoned me, and I had one other person to help me with 30 children decorating Christmas cookies. Tybee almost passed out when I said the cookies were Mary, Joseph & Baby Jesus.

You should have come to chat anyway. It was a good laugh.

I was at chat! People are planning to come to Texas in January. It will be MY fault if the weather sucks! Lorraine is requesting that it be warm and sunny. Lucy is requesting that we take looooong walks. Tybee is requesting that we not eat at food courts (I am okay with that ). However I missed almost all of the rest of the conversation about Texas so I may be very suprised in Jan.

A good time was had by all!

I've been updated by several on the TX convention. Tybee managed to get in right under the deadline, which surprises me because I'd figure her for an early reservation type, not waittilthelastminute type? Tybee...did you eat meat or something and get confused??

Kburch also talked to me in person (YES!!!! I met her!!! and yes...she looks 15) so she's on my list too.

However...since I've been nominated as the travel agent, list holder, and all around Mean Big Bad Mama, any other requests to invade The Alamo must come through me. If you aren't on the list...you can't come. Sorry folks...the list IS the list of all lists and it comes with a big stick which I am not afraid to use....

Oh and as someone who lives in Texas I can promise you guys that in January the weather will be somewhere between 20 and 90. But, if you don't like it the next day it can drop or raise by fifty degrees overnight.

All of the folks in the "We can't go to Texas" group will be drinking about ya'll, and conjuring up some magic snow voodoo. Not just snow, but 4 feet of it mixed with rain & ice. Then we're selling the "Rad Mom's Gone Wild!! "video for $19.95. We have secret camera's everywhere.... Are we jealous?..um yep just a tad. But we Love ya'll anyways.

So what's the deal with Texas? I can figure that some lucky folks are retreating, but when/where/why? (Other than "because we need and deserve it!" ) Chatters (or chatterers!) only, or is it for some convention, or . . .? Just curious.

Well, Lylac if you can conjure snow in Texas, all the children here will love you forever! An inch or two would be all it takes to get them out of school. We don't have all the sand trucks and plows here that you have in the north. Since we are all skinny and beautiful then you should do very well with the video. LOL
I think everyone is coming to Texas for Suz's birthday. No other reason than she invited everyone. So you coming Kay?

Yeah, jenny has some home catastrophy. Like she can't park in the garage so that ceiling can dry and the dryers in the bathroom (for carpet). Definite horor story. -
