Hey Lara, anymore news?
Is the birthmom still trying to decide on the baby? The waiting must be just awful for you! I know that it will all work out the way that it is meant too. But still, I think that I would have chewed my fingernails down to the nub by now!

Nope! But another referral.....
The birthmom took the baby home so we are assuming that will NOT be our girl! The very same day we found that out, we got a referral for fraternal twin girls, but they just turned eight in February(son turns 6 in July, so they'd be two grade years apart, Caleb in 1st, and these girls in 3rd). They sound perfect, but we want to meet them and learn more about how they interact with younger children. We feel really good about this one, but I know how some people feel so strongly about adding an older sibling group to an only child and those arguments make sense, but I also know that it does work for some, so..... we're doing lots of thinking, talking, and praying! They ARE legally free, which is very good news and they haven't languished in the system forever. They have only been in care since August.

Sorry about the baby girl. The referral of the twins sounds like a good one. I know that you've got some thinking to do, but I think that you will "know" when it's the right thing for you and your family. Good luck to you no matter which path you choose. And please, keep us posted!
