Our first day of school
It went very well.
O had a great day in Kindergarten and made friends. He's the only one in his class who can read, write, add and subtract. His teacher told me he's going to end up being her little helper. Not sure how I feel about that as he can get a little bossy and let things go to his head. O told me that he has a bully in his class, and the bully got in trouble for being mean to the teacher, ended up in the principal's office. R was amazing in 1st grade. He did ask his teacher if he could go home a few times. But then he read a poem to the class and was well behaved. His teacher couldn't believe he had ADHD. It's amazing what medication can do. He was still fidgetty but focused. His teacher seems very attentive and in control of the 20 first graders. I think R's 504 plan is going to be very helpful for him. It's already worked wonders with sitting in the front of the room and not getting lost. Hoping for another great day tomorrow.

O is in all day kindergarten as our district doesn't offer half day, not even for pre-k.
Our little guy is doing very well. He's adjusted to us and is attaching. He's a very easy going toddler. He may have some issues with speech, so we're going to have him evaluated by early intervention. It maybe from living in a spanish speaking home for the last 6 months. But after a month with us he's only picked up a few words and has about 20 words he uses and 3 little phrases. He's learning how to swim and is very adventerous in the water. And he's a very happy little guy, which we all love. The terrible 2s aren't so bad this time around. Afterall this is the 5th time we've been through them.
