Found a girl who was my daughters best friend in 1st grade

(they really try to place ethnically here) Problem #2 there goes birth order (my kids are 9 and 6) Problem #3 they have this big thing here about having too many kids close in age (It would be a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders next school year)

Well, from the sound of their voice during the last conversation it is probably going to be another big NO, but they are really good kids and as far as I know no big problems.

So, you might want to send your homestudy their way if you are interested. (They are listed on Faces of Adoption. Search VA 10 year old sibs) Are female sibs (AA) also having a hard time being placed?

She really was my daughter's best, best friend in 1st grade, 2 years ago.

The 12 year old, the poor kid, is still so up in the air. The therapist said the SW in the other state has been flying down here to do the homevisits, so the local city has never been involved. They are now literally begging the adoptive parents to keep the kid and if not for adoption then for foster care. The girl had to testify in court in the other state last week and the defunct-adoptive parents wouldn't even escort her. (Can you imagine doing that to a kid?) They don't want to tell the kid she is leaving until after school is out for the year, 8 weeks to go. (I said I bet she already knows, because who would let their baby go out of state to testify in court by themselves?) And just because they are a couple/married they look like such better parents then myself. Ugh!!!
