Talked to Interstate Compact on Friday and here's what they said.

But she also said that once the paperwork is received, it is just about a done deal.

Naturally, I called Ray-Ray's (our son in Delaware's) social worker to ask if the paperwork had been sent, because the lady at interstate looked it up and couldn't find it.

She said that she was waiting for some medical forms from Ray's doctor. So we know where we stand. the dentals were sent, but not the medicals.

It really helped ME to know how interstate compact works in our state and how long/short it will take them once everything is in. Since we already have a homestudy and fingerprints, we are mostly waiting on the child's history to be collected in Delaware and sent to Wisconsin.

Everyone waiting for a child is in our prayers today on this Christmas Eve. I pray for all of our precious children and i pray for all those who still have to wait for a placement.

Extra special prayers go out to the Culvers...and to our own new son, who won't be with us this Christmas (not yet).

Ray-ray, all your presents are wrapped and waiting for you.

Merry Christmas to everyone (or Happy Channukah)!

Pam
