Well, that new homestudy is taking longer then I thought.
The SW says that they like them to last at least 2 months.
Now they are saying more classes, but just 2. They are in
the end of Jan. and 1st week of Feb. I have a good chance
to get a placement by the end of summer or sooner.
I think we are kind of finally getting over the loss of the
3 kids we have for 1 year as foster children. I did not
realize how much it hurt both my girls, parents, and brothers
to see them go. Then to find out the placement in the other
state with the birthmom only lasted about 2 weeks. This is
the biggest loss in my life after my grandpa's death when I was seven. (THERE really is no way for me to get the kids
back. One is in residential treatment, the others in some
type of foster care in the state. I've been told that
they are paying again for their mom's rehab and have sent
the dad out at our cities expense. I know, or am trying
to make myself believe this is just one of those things I
cannot change and need to accept.) The SW still owes me
about $2,000 for damage done to my house after she went to the
kids school and told them they were riding a bus out to
where their mom went back to. They trashed the house and no one answered at the emergency call center. This was back in
October. This was 2 weeks after she came and told them they were going to be adopted like my girls but that they could not be adopted by me because I already had too many kids. Man, sometimes I just do not know what planet those SW from public DSS come from.

I guess I'll just take the high road and pray for her.
She really did those kids wrong.
I am so thankful now that my girls had the SW they had.

My six year old asked if we could send them presents.
All I could tell her was that we really had no idea where
they were and that theie SW would not let them have them anyway.
