We are pursuing an interstate adoption. We were wondering if anyone knows of a way to get transporation help. This is a special needs adoption and I'm not even sure if a commercial airline will let him travel due to his medical needs. The cost for tickets is also way out of our budget. Does anyone have any advice?

How ironic, I was just wondering the same thing. Where is she. It seems strange without her.

I expect she's just fine, and probably very busy. She'll burst in with news very soon. I have missed her though, and have been thinking of her and her partner.

the less.We took the kids to Breckenridge for lessons and
spent three days up at Copper Mountain during the recent
National Brotherhood of Skiers Mini Summit.Every year black

from my worker about two sibling girls ages six and seven but
I passed on them because of behavior issues I felt I couldn't
handle such as lying and testing of limits which alot of these
kids will do but I couldn't take lying from the both of them!
Tyler let me know I couldn't take a 2 year old screaming for four hours and trying to hit his head on the floor.So I'm
sticking to my original plan which is girls ages 4-6 with
mild to moderate behavioral issues.Well let me get back to catching up on the recent posts.Love YRand

I have news. I am getting a placement soon. A little girl. I started working with the foster care agency in my county and it has really worked. She will be visiting for the first time on Saturday. After a couple of visits she moves in. I can't wait. I know there will be problems, but I still can't wait! Unlike you, I am totally unprepared. I had to run out and buy a bed and do up the room. I was so afraid to have a room ready. I thought I would jinx myself. And I wanted girls or boys so I really couldn't fix up a room. But I am soooooooo ready for this child. I think I am going to ask her what she would like in her room before I finish it. You know...favorite colors...cartoon characters....Barbie...etc. Here I go, getting all excited again.

I'll keep you informed. So glad you are back.

Hey...I know you wanted girls 4 to 6 but there are two sweetie pies on the Ohio site. More like 2 and 3 yrs. old. Check them out. Their names are Hevven and Layla. Real dolls.

Hey there,
Not only were you missed but several folks were worried about you - even me some. Good for you for sticking with your choices/decisions - very wise. I spent a week up at Breckenridge a few years ago, courtesy of the feds at a conference. Very cool accomodations in condos. I remember a huge altitude headache (and I used to fly high altitude aircraft) and very good beer at a local microbrewery. Also great whitewater rafting on the Arkansas....

Graham and I live in the Mile High City.I'm just now starting to feel like myself again.I guess those kahlua coffee drinks got to me yummm! Breckenridge is a fun spot lots of cute shops in Victorian style buildings not as much glitz as Aspen or Vail more family oriented.When you are there remember to drink lots of water,juice,coffee and sodas don't count.
