What does it really mean when you are selected out of Mapp classes?

My Social workers informed my class that the 2 single people in our class were "selected out", what does this mean exactly?
They didnt go into much detail, they sorta said it then zoomed on to something else. My entire class was shocked to hear this. I don't understand it, I thought both of them would have been great parents. One was a AA female around 27 or so the other was a Cauc. male about 25 or so. Do you think that them being young and single had something to do with it?

Selected out certainly sounds as if they weeded out the single people. For whatever reason, some agencies will not work with singles. But if this is the case, you would think they would have made this known before classes started. So maybe it was for other reasons.

Training

There are times that people begin the training and decide that this isn't something they want to proceed with. We have people just up and quit. THey have screened themselves out. It may be a single person or a couple. But in reality they have determined themselves that this isn't the way they want to go. It is a learning experience for all.
