Hattie and yrand, do you have kids yet? My prayers are with you.

Don't be a stranger

Keep us informed on your child... Don't disappear, tell us about the profile etc. It's always exciting to hear of a person at this stage... I will be meeting my son in about three weeks, so the next two weekend are it for me as a s.i.n.k. (Single-Individual-No-Kids). I have to get this kid on board, he's set for the next 2.5 years with EVERYTHING, we can always use prayer and $$$$, but if you can't pay, pray....

Works for me

can't wait to be where you two are!

Do keep the rest of us panting out here in the desert waiting for that little drop of water (a call from a caseworker, a hit about a child possible getting nearer to our homes, etc,)in touch with those who've made it to the oasis. (Ok, at the oasis there are the daily squabbles of life, I know, but still, to actually be were there are kids to squabble is a great dream for those of us waiting!!)

It Happens - now you NEED the Board!!!

Hi again yvette, congratulations. We'll be here when you need us. Can you share some more detail about the placement and the child?
Graham.

breaking up squabbles makes for a wonderful weekend ha!ha!You
haven't lived till you've listened to a 2 year old scream
Mommy! Mommy! for four hours. Then he threw his little self

that flashed in my mind was,oh Lord all I need now is a child abuse rap right when I'm almost at my goal! I grabbed him up and made him sit down on the couch next to me looked him in the eye and told him No! no!I guess it suprised him cause he stopped. His mom says he's done it before at grandma's and she
just let him do it!So I said all this to relate how challenging parenting is and to wish you good luck and God speed and don't be no stranger!
