If you're the praying type... I really ask your prayers... I've been waiting several weeks for my request to go to committee. Every week it's the same story. It appears (in fact they've told me in words) that I'm a shoe in.

But for some reason I keep thinking that they are quickly trying to recruit somebody else this one last time before deciding in my favor.

Without going into any more detail, please pray for me, I want to trust God through all of this, but I feel my heart getting many times more distant than when I first started the quest over a year ago.

so I am praying for you. And I've been to committee once and not selected, so I KNOW how it feels to wait. And wait, and wait..... Anyway, if you are a Christian-pray-er, who believes that God has you in the palm of His hand, then rest in that knowledge. When you start to fuss, stop and pray. If you need to keep up on what is happening, or prod people at times, then do so. Just don't worry over these things. If you've prayed about it, leave it there. (this is as much a pep talk for me as for you!!!!) Ulcers profit no one expect your doc and the pharmaceutical companies.

Today I called my adoption worker and was informed that she did get a call and that it is being scheduled to go to committee next week. Praise God!!!!!

Why hadn’t she call me? and yes I've heard this before, BUT, this time they called here... and that's a twist from business as usual.

Please don’t stop praying, as my student’s would say… “I’m stressing out!”
