Isn't there a Social Worker Appreciation Day?

Anyway, the classes are fun!!! Somewhat repetitive but one of the best opportunities you will have to get answers to your questions from a caseworker in your area. They're also a great way to learn a little more about yourself. So send ToTo over to pull that curtain back and enjoy the journey Dorothy, err... I,,.. mean Sondra!

You guys are great!

Remember me? I posted here back in December about considering a little girl who had been severly neglected and who also had a borderline IQ. Guess what? I'm still waiting to hear something from her social worker. She just got around to reading our homestudy last weekend! We've also expressed interest in another child who is not in our state. Meanwhile, you guys have helped me to maintain sanity. I love eavesdropping occasionally to see where you guys are or aren't in your journies. You are all in my prayers.

Hi Sondra,
Congratulations!! you are sooo lucky... You only have 5 CLASSES. I have TEN!!! I guess we should finish up about the same time :0) I have 6 more classes to go. The classes are fun and interesting, you will learn soo much. My social worker gave me fingerprint cards to have my background check ran tomorrow. Everything is happening so QUICKLY. I am excited and scared at the same time. I havent even started on the nursery yet (you would think after trying to conceive for 8 yrs I would be right on it). I guess I will snap out of this trance sooner or later ( I think I am in a state of shock, that I will soon be a mommy ). But anyway,.....
good luck to you and lets keep in touch since we will finishing up classes around the same time.
