My girls were split up....with two different family members.

She is going to talk to their caseworker tomorrow as this was not the plan...splitting them up. I told her if things were changed to let me know. But it doesn't look good. At least I am not getting my hopes up anymore.

They probaly figured oh well it's still in the family but I
lived this nightmare when I was split up from my sisters for five years and it's not for the girls best interest. Especially when you're involved in a family feud where one side hates the other.

You can't hug a photo!

Give it to God...

Well...

I've been there a couple times... There was a boy who had been split from his siblings, the state of New Mexico separated them... The oldest was being bombarded with New Mexico type therapy (not a good thing) I wanted him out before they totally screwed him up.... Well.. they did it! The one brother that he was in contact with was adopted to a family outside the state... as you can imagine he started to act out... when last I heard that opened communication to his sister now it's just one big hopeless mess. I pushed and lobbied for that kid.... I know they were suspect as to why I was so intent on getting him...

Now it's too late... The kid is screwed up. I had to except that, I'm moving on.... you'll have to do the same I’ve seen similar scenarios since, I put my request in and wait, I don’t get my hopes up.

Everytime I hear a horror story like yours it makes me even
more determined. With children in the news every week killing
other children you'd think the experts would realize how important the formative years are for these kids and not be so swayed by political correctness in placing these kids. I
hear stories about how once some of these black kids grow up
and get in their preteen years and start acting out on the white families they get sent back to the system older, angrier,
and even harder to place. It would only make sense to place them where they have a better chance of a PERMANENT home.
