new federal regs regarding foster care...to increase the number of adoptions

Meanwhile foster/adopt families hang on, waiting endlessly to make a child they love a permanent part of their family. I would appreciate any info you could give me. Thanks. lizz

ASFA (Adoption and Safe Families Act)

Your state has had a couple of law suits that speeded up adoptions and provided for postadoption services. It's always worth a call to your state legislator, or a visit to his or her office, to inquire why children are waiting? Just a hint. Graham.

Thanks for the web site. lizz

Hurry up and wait.

The worker for these girls says she wants to put them on tv and they've been online for weeks. They've already had over thirty families apply plus me and I'm wondering what the hell is the hold up what are they looking for Mother Theresa?

foster/adoption homestudy question

If this is so, how else can we find affordable ways to increase the love to share in our family?
