By unscientific but overwhelming vote of the members of this Board the decision is not to change its name. But, I'd still be glad to do so if anyone comes up with a good alternative that gains a popular vote. You see, I don't think the needs of our children are "special". I think they are the same needs and issues that all adopted children and people have. They may be more extreme, more dramatic perhaps, more urgent, but all of it is about loss, attachment, commitment, safety and teaching. Most of all it's about iron-clad security. That should not be special. That should be normal. But, I go with the flow.....thank you all for your responses.
