foster child becoming legal risk adoption
We have a foster child in our home that the state is going to
try to put up for legal risk adoption. Is it true that foster parents usually get first preference? We have just adopted our daughter in July, but she lived with us for 1.5yrs before we finalized. Could they say it is too soon for us to try to adopt again? The mother has a history of being very violent and unstable, her previous children have all been taken away. Our biggest concern is that she will go back to her mother, who is starting to have weekly visits with the child. Thanks for any help.
