Any experience?

I posted this on the main special needs bb, but thought somebody here might be able to help me! Can anyone suggest any good books on attachment and bonding with a toddler who is extremely delayed?
Our little one is 26mo. but at the level of a 4-6mo old. She is only now sitting, but cannot crawl, roll, talk, etc. She does have cp and micro, but I feel many of her delays and attachment disorder come from extreme neglect-left alone most of her young life. Dh and I hold her most of the time, but this is so hard to do at night! She has never taken a bottle(fed with an eyedropper for over a year ), so we can't use this technique. She rocks and uses other self comfort motions. She will make eye contact for a split second.

Any voices of experience with some advice?? Good books to read? She has been in EI for four months with her fosterfamily, and has progressed with this. She begins again next week here in our state.

Thanks so much!

The first thing that comes to mind is Greenspan's book The Child with Special Needs. If I think of anything, I'll share it with you.
