First, Louise, I am so sorry. I know this seems overwhelming, but please know that you have a lot of friends here in cyber land that are offering good thoughts and prayers for your family. I have never been in the position your husband is in. I can only imagine how he, and you, must feel. If there is anything I can do. I can almost garuntee a hob in Warner Robins GA., but quite frankly I understand why that's probably not an option. However, if you are willing to relocate IN California consider that the Air Force is looking for Engineers. I'll send the website a little later tonight or tomorrow morning when I get to work.
Next, we MAY be moving to Long Beach CA. I am on the "A" list for a position there, and the Military and civilian director of my agency is recommending me (they have called the folks doing the hiring without being solicited). so, we will see.
Finally, we took a placement of 3 children under 4 today. I I'm holding the youngest and typing. It's a temp placemnt (probably 10 days). They of course came without anything................there's the last of the paycheck!!LOL!!!

Congrats on your newest little people. Isn't that always the way it goes -- the kids come with little or no warning and they don't have the clothes or shoes or ANYTHING they need. Our FS's came to us in winter without coats...there went any extra $$ we had! LOL

So you may be coming back to the West Coast! Keep us posted!!

been a bit overwhelmed of late.

Things are moving froward, Pat is doing contract work (and enjoying the added freedom that allows).

I am excited to hear you may be moving back to the land of sunshine and, if I may say, the cool people! Keep me updated.
