South Carolina Adoption Laws
Can anyone out there that knew very little when they started their birth parent search offer any advice? My BC shows my adoptive parents of course, but I have no idea which agency, if any, handled my adoption. I want to petition the court, but not sure which court handled the adoption-is there any easy way to find this out?
I've heard in Georgia that records are open once you're 30, this is not the case in South Carolina, is it? Info: DOB 10/3/1973, Anderson, South Carolina, male. Born at Anderson Memorial. Need to know medical history for myself and my children. |
