ISO male born 6/19/71 in SC
hi everyone! i'm trying to find my half brother born 6/19/1971 at MUSC in Charleston SC. my mother stayed at the Florence Crittenton Home in charleston during her pregnancy. She gave birth to twins but one passed away shortly after birth. We know the baby was adopted out of Columbia (where the agency was located). but thats about all we've been able to find out. my mom called and talked to a lady at FCH and she was very nice and said she would get her records and send them to us all we'd have to do is send a hipaa release form and she gave us a number for the adoption records but that lady was not so nice. she said they wouldnt have much if any info on the adoption and she said it would take months for them to get anything together for us. i guess my question is can anyone help us or tell us where else we can look or what else we can do.
