Hello adoption world….My situation is as follows:
-Birthplace: Virginia 10/10/83
-Adopted: At birth…Bio mom not allowed to hold me
-Sealed Adoption
-Lawyer who handled the case was disbarred when I was younger…kind of went crazy and vanished, perhaps deceased….his records seem to be non-existent
-Biological parents were apparently young and affiliated with political families that could not have their children’s dirty laundry aired for the public eye
-My family lives in SC and drove to the VA hospital to receive me

I am writing in hopes of shedding light on my situation instead of finding more legal run around regarding privacy. I need access to my medical history. I have felt kind of like a walking time bomb. I have survived at least 3 near death calls (1 of which involved falling off a cliff that the paramedics said I was the only one to ever literally walk away whereas 3 others had perished in the same spot) I just want to know that I am not susceptible to some rare cancer that could wipe me out tomorrow. After the life I’ve been given so far, that is not how I want to leave this time here I’ve been blessed with. Access to my medical history would lift a great deal of stress from my shoulders, especially in the time I’m facing right now.

I am reaching out to you guys for answers. Hopefully you can provide me with anything. Thank you for your time.

do u know anything at all about your bio family? do u know where you were born as in which hospital? what is the name of the attorney that handled your case? do you still live in sc?
