Please can you help me get information on how I start looking for my birth mother. I was born in Johannesburg in 1968, and both my adoptive parents have now passed away and I am despratly looking for my birth mother!

Hi there,
Once you're over 18 your adoption files are opened to you. If you contact the Child Welfare dept in Pretoria, there is a lovely lady who deals with adoption reunions/search. Alternately, look for the Adoptions Renunion SA site and register. Good luck in your search |
