|
trying to foster teenage mom and daughter
My husband and I just became foster parents in the last 3 months. Our first placement is a 16 yr old and her 20 month old daughter. Mother (grandmother) is in jail for a very long time. We are finding it so hard to help this girl be a good mother. She really has no interest in being a mother until we take over the "mother" duties.
Has anyone else been faced with this situation before. any help would be great.
