Unhappy SW Complaint - Who do I turn to?

I have been trying to adopt a 7yr old boy who is sibling to three children I have in my home, two of whom are adopted and one is still foster but working toward adoption. I am trying to keep these kids together and have had to battle the boy's SW from day one. I have known this little guy longer than she has; I have kept in contact with his foster families and with his previous fost/adopt home that failed. I know why it failed and the exact circumstances of things. Unfortunately, the SW has much of the information confused and backwards. How do I prove that she is wrong? It is her inaccurate information that is keeping this little guy from even being considered for adoption. How can a SW refuse to allow a child the right to a forever family, especially when some of that family is biologically his? She has already told him that he gets to be adopted by me, but now seems to be putting everything on hold with inaccurate information. What can I do? I don't think she likes this boy and so she is making life very difficult on him. I have tried to talk to her supervisor, but the SW is in her 60s and quite intimidating and the supervisor is a 30 year old kid. I'm at my wits end, but I cannot give up on him. Please someone tell me who can help me. Why can't this boy have the same SW as my other kids? Why does everything have to be so darned difficult?

He can have the same sw as the other kids. TELL, don't ask the supervisor that you want your fs sw off the case now and you want the same sw your other children have. Tell him there are issues with communication and your fs and you are not comfortable with the present sw. I've btdt. Don't back down, be assertive.

If the kids are from the same county or agency, tell the director that you want the boy's sw and case changed to the other kids'! Don't even bother with the supervisor. He/she will have to account to the director if you go to him/her first.

I hate power hungry sw's!
