Is it possible.......
Is it possible to be a foster parent if you have had a domestic charge against you?

I'm not a social worker, but I do know that there is no "one size fits all" answer to this - it's going to depend on a lot of things; when this happened, what the details are, what's been going on in your life since...For sure, it will make it harder, but might not make it impossible. The best advice I can give you is to have a frank discussion with your licensing worker, and be totally honest - don't leave anything out or try to "colour" the story in any way. |

I would agree that it will depend on what the charges were, how long ago they happened, and if there was more than one incident.
