Independent Home Study?
Since the classes in our county in GA for foster-to-adopt do not start until Sept. or Oct., I've contacted a private agency that completes home studies. One advantage of this could be that I could send the home study to agencies outside of my county and state.
Does anyone know if the home studies completed by the county can be sent elsewhere? Can the county/public agency use home studies completed by private agencies?

I am in GA and used a private agency. They do foster care adoptions throughout the country. I found it to be a wonderful experience and much quicker than going through the county. I loved that I had someone on my side that knew what they were doing. PM me if you need a reference for a couple in Metro Atl.
