Question for social worker
I wanted to know what happens to foster parents who were named (in a police report) as participants in a "bar fight"? The couple currently has 2 foster children. Also, the foster mother is a licensed daycare provider.

I am not a licensing worker but a CP worked but I believe that there would like be a licensing investigation for both the day care and the foster care. Whether or not the children would be removed would likely be decided by the outcome of the investigation at least where I work. Being named in a police report is not being convicted and it would be the conviction that could result in losing their license - but it would also depend on the conviction as well as the criteria for licensing in that state.

Thanks........
for the information! I do know that DCFS did contact the foster mother and asked her why she was involved in the fight. So, I'm sure it's being investigated and it should be.
