i am a single foster mom in al and had two sisters then a month later premature brother came along. i got him when he was 8 days old. for the first 3 days he actually stayed at dhr's office. he stayed with another stay-at-home foster family after that till he was 3 weeks old and able to go to daycare. not the most ideal situation for a premie i agree but it worked. and he is now a healthy 2year old that has been adopted by another family. as far as daycares go it just depends on what they are licensed for and what they have openings for......
