Bonding evaluation

I want to know what weight the results from a bonding evaluatoin have? Here is just a little bit of background info......We have had our nephews(7 1/2 & 10) placed with us for the third time (12/98-10/00, 2/04 - 9/04, 1/4/06 til present) We also took them in other times for up to 5 weeks but not through DYFS. 8/05 (11 months after the last RU) we had family team meating to prevent removal of boys again. Bioparents received 4 months of services. Shortly after services stoped DYFS did surprise check (house deplorable & unsafe, parents under influance) & removed boys. Bioparents tested posative for cocaine & marajuana in court. We have made it known that we are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure they don't have to go back again. GAL wants KLG, DYFS thinks TPR. This is the first time we have ever had a bonding evaluation. I talked to the CW yesterday, and she said the file has been moved to a different department for either KLG or subsidized adoption. She also informed me not to tell BP, because they don't inform them until it is filed( because of flight risk). How long will it take to be filed? Right now they have visits supervised by a family member, will that get changed to the DYFS office once they notify the parents? I asked how the bonding eval went and she said wonderful. The Phsycologist (spelling?) thinks the Bios should have TPR and we should adopt, not even KLG. How much weight will this have in court?

From my experience it will weigh extremely heavy. But I also think that it depends on the judge that you have also. Our judge weighed very heavily on what the GAL and other's reccomendations were.....Good luck to you!
