How do you celebrate Mother's Day?
What do you all do to celebrate Mother's Day?
I have taken to hosting on Mother's Day for my Mother and my Sister's family. I like spending the day in my own home, even if I have to serve the crowd. We usually try to plant some flowers and do yard work(weather permitting). I also bought a cement block kit to make my daughter's hand prints and then she decorates it with stones. I did one last year and we will do it again this year. The block looks really nice in the backyard. And because they are individual, I can take them with me if I ever move. It is my Mother's Day gift to myself. Have you created any traditions?

My boys have actually fallen into the same tradition my brothers and I had as children - breakfast in bed for mom! Two years ago, C was 7 and M was 4...they fixed me chocolate fudge poptarts with orange juice. Unfortunately, I had recently purchased a new half-gallon of OJ. When I entered the kitchen later, my feet stuck to the floor. It didn't matter, though. This year my parents and I are meeting half-way to spend the weekend together.
