U.S. Dep't. of State lists agencies authorized by India to handle adoptions.

India has designated a number of agencies in the U.S. as allowed to facilitate adoptions from that country. Go to the website of the U.S. Department of State to get a list of the agencies. These agencies can tell you whether single parent adoption or adoption by lesbian couples is permitted.

Adopting a Native American Child

I would start by contacting my local tribal council.
