I've been officially in the program waiting since March 2009. Since March, there has been some changes within the adoption agency as far as social workers for waiting parents....communication is always there prior to showing my profile etc...but what is hard for me is, after you know your profile is being shown there seems to be lack of followup unless I constantly call or email for feedback. For ex. my profile was given to a couple in August - they are due in November. During this time, the change took place at the agency. I did not have any real feedback until the end of September. When I met with the new social worker, she told me I would be contacted weekly if my profile was out. I'm frustrated that this has not happened. I have been emailing and following up myself weekly, but this week my emails went unanswered. The agency I'm with is known, established and I had not heard of this kind of feedback prior to dealing with them. I'm just wondering if anyone else battles with this?
