Hi! I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to this board. I am a single woman residing in Washington State that has started the adoption process. I am 23 (almost 24) and I am at the point in my life where I have so much to offer a lil' baby. I have 110% family support from ALL my family! I already have two degrees and a specialization along with a career. I am hoping to adopt a infant lil' boy "Tayten Quinn" from the foster care. I am excited that I found this board to other individuals I can relate with.

is this little one in your home? how exciting!! i adopted my son from foster care. he came to me at 4 months and was adopted at 2.5 years. i am in the process of adopting my daughter who came to me at 6 weeks and is now 12 months. i am also a single mom

That is sooooo cool! I think adoption is just the best. He is not currently in my home as I'm just waiting until I've plowed through all the training (30 hours worth, plus two more classes). I am done with training on the 15th of Feb. and moving right around there to a bigger place! It is REALLY exciting!
