I am excited to find a Sibling Group forum. We have 5 children, 3 adopted. And 2 of those were adopted as a sibling group. Both our newest boys have RAD. They are young, 3 and 5. The therapist says they have a trauma bond and it will take lots more work to help them heal. Anyone else ever done this? Some days I am overwhelmed and scared and some days I think "we can do this". I would like to hear other people's experiences and hopefully successes.

At 3 and 5 your chances are better but it is harder when dealing with trauma bonded siblings. A big thing is keeping them apart while not directly with you. Otherwise, one tends to control the other. My siblings were older, 8, 8, and 9 when I got them. One never bonded at all. When I removed him to residential(for a more serious issue), the other two did bond to us and each other. At 18 and 19 they have a very strong bond to each other. It is very hard work.
