Hello, my name is Heidi and I will be the new blogger for the Parent's Point of View on the sibling adoption blog.

My DH and I have 7 children: 4 born to us, 2 sons from China and a daughter from Haiti. We just returned 5 days ago with our second son from China, so life is a little...ummmm...hectic right now as he is 11 years old and only speaks about 10 words of English. I, in turn, only speak about 50 words in Chinese, so we are resorting to a lot of gestures, sign language, and Chinese/English dictionaries.

I hope to be active on this forum and get ideas from all of you about what you would like to see on my blog. Meanwhile, I might start out a bit slow as my family becomes acclimated to our newest arrival.
