We too are kinda in the wait game, my youngest 3 biomomma has a meth addiction, and 2 more children...born since the termination of her first 3's parental rights. She is on radar with social services and we wait, with hopes she either gets her life together, or if the children are brought into state custody, to keep the siblings together. So we have chosen to not adopt more (non related) in case these children come in the system.

I go away for two days and come back to see my roonie girl a FH! Glad to see ya Roon!
We are currently fostering 3 siblings with hopes to adopt one day. Trying not to get my hopes up too much yet! Esp when SW called today and said one of dad's relatives who watched the kids before wanted visits. So we get to set that up on our own time. Not that they shouldn't go to family if thats the case, but it will be hard to see them go too! We'll love them regardless!
However, even if this doesn't work out for us to adopt them, we are very interested in adopting siblings groups. Too many people out there who only want one, so many kids that come "together". I hate to see them split sib groups just b/c they can't find someone that will take them all.

I am in the process of adopting siblings the hard way. C was placed with me 8 years ago. Approximately eighteen months ago, his younger sibling was placed with me as an adoptive placement. So, their adoptions will be seven years apart. I have also adopted M, who has a sibling that was adopted in another state (long story, custody taken at separate times).

Intro

Hello! My husband and I are hoping to adopt a sibling group of two from foster care. We have a two year old daughter and although we can have biological children, we would also like to adopt to add to our family. We completed our homestudy a month ago and are now in the waiting, seeking game. Looking forward to hearing everyone's stories!

Thinking about 4

Hello,
I am currently thinking, researching and trying to convince DH about 4 girls from Russia. I came from a family of five and know the ups and downs. I hope I can get enough info to convince him soon so we can start all the paperwork.
Amy
