Making the decision for more than one...

We are early in the process of searching for children that might match us. We are now considering the option of looking for sibling groups of 2, but are still thinking through it.

I am wondering if anyone out there had a similar experience they can share. Our main concerns right now with 2 vs. 1 are bonding, child care (I would like to work for 1 year), the fact that we aren't parents at all right now and a jump to 2 seems like a lot, and family support. As far as the family goes, some are really just getting used to the idea of 1, so 2 might be harder for them to deal with. I realize that we make choices for us and our children, but we have to consider it.

Any advice is welcome.
