I am very grateful to my birth mother for having the courage and strength to put me up for adoption. This is probably one of the hardest decisions a person would have to make, a selfless decision. She gave me the chance to experience a good life.. in the hopes I would have a normal life. The decision she made was so much better than the "easy way" out, abortion. She gave me life, and for that I am grateful to her. My favorite saying applies here....."Be kinder than neccessary for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."

I share your feelings exactly, as my mother "took the easy way out" 4 years before she got pregnant with me. I hope one day I can personally thank her for what she did for me...I hope all of us do
