I am looking for anyone in my birth family. I have very limited info I am a female born 05/18/1967 at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, my records are obviously sealed, but what I do know, is my birth mother also had 3 others she gave up for adoption. She has 9 brothers and sisters, and her birth town was Oklahoma. If anyone can help start me in the right direction please feel free to respond.

Start with checking for matches as well as posting your search on the reunion registry on this site, as well as posting on the forums that match the info you have, i.e. born in 1967, born in CA? / FL? in the search and reunion forum, etc.

Fill out the form for ISSR and mail it in, it is free and they tell you if they have a match.

Sign up for the state and/or maternity home registries if they have them.

Keep a list of where you have registered so you can update your contact info if it changes as well as checking for any 'posts' that match your info.

Did you check the birth date matches on the reunion registry on this website (not this forum)?

You must remember that people searching sometimes do not know all the details or records were changed back then. Search all the matches for anything that may connect with you.

Do not limit yourself, what you know may be slightly different then the reality.
