Talking What it is like for me

Hello there. I am 25 years old. I was adopted when I was 8. My Bsister was also adopted with me when she was 6.
I have gone through years of not knowing who I am. Only recently have finally opened up to my wonderful Aparents. I have put them through hell and back again since the day we moved in. I feel so incredably guilty for the things I have done and said to them. Just over the holidays I have talked to my AMother and she tells me that everything is forgivin and that it wasn't my fault. She said that she loves me no matter what. To me that means more than anything that she is my Mother. Another woman might have given birth to me, but she is my Mother.
I just wanted to say to people out there who feel that they have been "abandoned". Remember this saying. "When one door closes, another is opened" when you get those feelings when you ask yourself "does anyone want me? does anyone really care?" Think about this. They do. You call them Mom and Dad. Who ever adopted you whent through a whole lot to get you. They got to pick you out. They got to decide if they wanted a boy or a girl, or if you had red hair or blond hair. They chose YOU!! I used to think that I was bought by someone who felt sorry for me. Now, I have looked at it from a different perspective and realized, they didn't buyME they bought the RIGHT to say they are my parents.
When you are feeling stressed out and overwhelmed, STOP what you are doing and look up. Contemplate what you see, focus on the sky and it's beauty and remember this. Even when you don't think anyone else loves you or if you are feeling alone, remember God put that sky there to remind you that he is with you ALWAYS AND FOREVER!! Then put a big grin on your face and remember that HE LOVE YOU FOREVER NO MATTER WHAT!!!- Chica
