as an adoptee, I am searching for something more in my life and Its closure...

I have always been one of those people never 100% satisfied with what I was currently doing in life. I am thinking I need closure on my birthmothers decision etc....I have had nothing short of a great life and I think I will be soul searching until I get to see her face.. what do you think??? Do other adopted people feel this way.???

Yes Lauren, I felt that way too. My search took many years but it was well worth the wait. I finally got the closure on that part of my life. I know why I was relinguished and understand the reasons. I know my heritage, I know my blood family. ( My birthparents married five years after I was born and went on to have 3 more children) I now know who I resemble - its so nice to look at three full siblings and see similiar features and personality aspects. Its a wonderful feeling!!

I was always satisfied with my life - knowing who my birthfamily are has just enriched the life that I already have.

Good luck.

I, too, felt the same way. I finally feel almost whole! (I still am not absolutely sure who my bfather is.) It took many years of searching and wondering but it was worth it.
