my story

I doubt my story is sensational enough for TV, but I have to try anyway, in hopes of bringing attention to the grave injustice that's been done. I placed a child for adoption through a San Antonio agency 12 years ago. It was to be a semi-open adoption, meaning that the adoptive parents and I could correspond through the agency (no last names) and I was promised an annual photo of my child. The first year I received 2 nice letters and 2 sets of photos from the adoptive parents. After that, I never received anything ever again. I've pleaded with the agency to do something, but they claim there's nothing that can be done legally. However, I was promised (by representatives of this agency) a yearly photograph of my son at the time I was pregnant and considering adoption. I was guarranteed that the adoptive family would remain in contact. I would not have agreed to the adoption otherwise. I was swindled by the false promises of the adoptive parents and the unethical business practices of the agency. I am now doing everything in my power to get this information across in hopes that someone can help me, and in hopes that other young women considering adoption will not be similarly misinformed and misled. Stories exactly like mine are a dime a dozen, this entire website is plastered with them, what happened to me happens every day. Like I said, it's probably not TV material, but I am willing to go on and talk about it if you want me to. Be aware that if I were to go on TV, I intend to refer to the adoption agency by name, otherwise my message will be useless. If I'm not allowed to do this, then disregard my message. Thanks, Ivy

If I were you I would want the whole world to know what happened and who did it to me. Can you sue the agency? After all, they did committ fraud, in my opponion. If you don't get on nattional TV, go to your local news station, many do investagative reports now, and its on the news with the name of the agency.

Take Care and persue this,
rayma
