An older child who was adopted

Hello, I wanted to share my story since everyone's is different. When I was five, I was taken away from the only home I knew and the only people I knew. I had lived with my birth parents but since they had five kids, they couldnt take care of us. So, we got to go my grandpaents. This wasnt the best place to live for us and my grandmother knew this so after two years there, she called the state and told them they needed to come and take us because of the things going on. There were five of us and we got put into different homes. My sister and went into one and the twins went to my bio moms dads house and my little brother got put into a fostor home. Aout a year later, I got taken away again since the family we were with couldnt handle me. Well, it was off to Savannah Georgia to a girls home. Little did I know that the family that had been taken us(the kids( to church were adopting my brother and wanted me as well. I just thought that I would be 18 and still in the system and then told you are 18 you can do whatever you want since you are an adult. At the age of 13, I was placed into my mom and dad's house. At the age of 14, my freshman year in high school, I was adopted. Who would have thought that this would mean so much to a teenager but, it did. I had my mom and dad now. We have had our ups and downs but when it comes down to it, I wouldnt chagne the world. I am now 29 years old and have an adoptive daughter as well. To top all things off, my husband is adopted. Who would have thought that God's plan was to have a special little family that is adopted all together. So, from day one we may have been rejected by our birth mother and birthfather but, GOD has other plans for us. God Bless:Amie
