I met my Wife on the internet back in 1997, after months of chatting on the net and on the phone we decided to meet. I live in Texas and she lived in Massachusetts . When we did meet we have been together ever since, we were married in 1998.
My Wife told me she was given up for adoption in Munich Germany in 1959 to a family that was from the USA. She had been searching for her family for years with no luck . After she told me all of this I began in the search and I kept running into dead ends until one night I was watching a T.V. show called JAG which gave me the ideal of American Embassy. Anyway I found that Munich Germany had and American Embassy and I sent them and e-mail with all the info I have on my Wife's Mother and two or three days later we had the biggest surprise , the embassy called letting us know they had found my Wifes Mother and wanted to know if we would give permission for contact. Of course you know our answer(lol). My Wife and her Mother have been incontact by phone and mail for the past year, My wife found out she has two brothers, a sister inlaw, a niece and nephew, Aunt's and Uncles and alot of cousins. Now for the sad part, Sue my Wife has Heart Disease . Sue had her first Heart Attack when she was 21, She is 43 now . On Oct 5, 2002 She had open Heart Surgery , I almost lost her that day and I thank God for every day for not taking her from me. I got some info on my Wifes Father, He was a service man in the Army in 59 stationed in Munich Germany. He lived at 1819 sugar creek dr.25312 West Virgina , he should be around 64 or 65 and his name is Thomas Gerald Browning. I have had no luck locating him as of yet. I want so much to get my Wife and her Mother together but we just don't have the money for such a trip... If anyone knows of any help group out there that could make this dream come true please e-mail me at dougedavis@msn.com.... P.S. I had to come back and Edit this page, On my Wifes Father his Military Service number is 13 555 436 and BirthDay is 4/14/1938. He has three brothers, two of which have died from a heart attack. Their names are Gay Browning(living) Bill Browning(deceased) Sebert Browning(deceased) Last edited by Davis1963 : 05-03-2003 at 03:34 PM. |
