I'm sorry but I thought this site was here to help people. I have posted two threads and have no responses. Please I really need some help and have exhausted all of my resources. Any angels in Montana that can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Personally I don't know of any search angels in Montana, so I'm no help there.

I know I've gotten a lot of help here, but I didn't get any in my search really. Mostly it's been in dealing with my situation.

I have only really written about my feelings as I wait for contact.

Post the names of the friends whose niece she was. I assume she would have lived near Butte at one time. Where did your family live when they were friends with these people?

I'm sorry you feel neglected by lack of responses. Things get really slow here on the weekends, beginning on Friday nights. A LOT more people post on the weekdays.

Also, I agree with Janey...you might want to ask for search help and advice on the Search and Reunion boards.

Wish I could help you, but I don't have any experience with searching in Montana. I mainly do California searches.

my family lived in Butte at the time of the adoption. Her aunt and Uncle were Merle and MaryLou Holmes, they had a daughter named Bluette, who passed away at 5 yrs of age. I alway had contact with them until Bluette's death

I found this obituary. Could it be their family? Look in the surviving family members for names to research that fit your bmom's age/relation.

I believe she would be Linda Lee Holmes. According to PeopleFinders she's age 57 and has a son age 26 named Rodger B holmes. Looks like she's also been associated with living in the same residence as Edward and Edna Holmes.

There are 3 Rodger Holmes' listed on Facebook. Look at the pictures and see if you can see any resemblance to yourself.
I didn't pay peoplefinders, so I don't have the phone number.

I also show that Bluette Holmes from Butte is 41 and alive and well. I also show a Bluette holmes who graduated from Butte High school in 1994.

Thank you but Merle and MaryLou were the Birthmothers Aunt and Uncle. And Bluette died in Missoula. But I am going to email this Linda and see if she is related.

update the person i emailed says she is no relation to aunt and uncle. My bmother's name is Sue. And she dosent know her either. I signed up for search and reunion on here but have heard nothing yet.
