Oh my GOSH! I can't BELIEVE how GREAT that phone call was! Well, first off here's the gist of the call: *dial in phone number...ring, ring, ring.)
Small boy: "Hello?"
Me: "Hi, can I speak to _____ please?"
Small boy: "Ok, Hold on.......Mom, there's a lady on the phone for you!"
BMom:"Hello?"
Me: "Hi, My name is _____ and I'm calling from ___, TN and I was wondering if you could spare a minute to talk to me. I think we know each other."
BMom: "WHO IS THIS?!?!"
Me: "You named me Summer Marie ____. I'm your daughter."
BMom: *dropped phone and screamed and did a happy dance!* *picks up phone* "are you still there! LOL! I'm sorry...is this really you honey?" *starts to cry*
Me: Yes it's really me!"
BMom: "Oh honey i've waited SOOO long for this call! I have loved you all your life and missed you even more!" "Can you ever forgive me for what i did?"
Me: "You love and miss me?!" *i start to cry* "that's more than i had ever hoped for!" "As far as i'm concerned, there's NOTHING to forgive! You loved me enough to give me a GREAT childhood and great adopted parents!" "I've missed you too though!"

It just got better and better from there on. It turns out we're almost JUST ALIKE!!! From the things we say and do to the Things we like and we don't like! She celebrated my birthday EVERY YEAR for 23 years and made a cake and put candles on it, sang me Happy Birthday, and even got me a present every year! I also have 23 presents for Christmas too! She wants a relastionship and so do I! I found out I have 2 real brothers...ages 18 and 9, and 1step-brother & 1 step-sister ages 25 and 21. I also had a baby brother who died at 29 days old. My Bmom's family lives in MS, and her mom lives in VA still. They drove through where i live in TN EVERY YEAR to go to her mom's for Christmas! Talk about 'so close, but SO far away'!! Things are GREAT we exchanged addresses, phone numbers, & emails. We are even gonna meet sometime soon before Christmas! YEA!!! I'm SERIOUSLY on cloud 9 right now! I don't think it'll GET any better than this...except for when i meet her that is! LOL! Let me know what ya'll think!

congratulations - it is a beautiful story and i am so so so happy for you and your birthmother.

i am in reunion with my 23 year old bdaughter and we met 3 weeks ago - it was shocking how genetically alike we are. same taste, personality, interests, expressions, mannerisms, etc....it's a wonderful amazing thing!!!!

sometimes in reunion things can get pretty emotional, so don't be surprised if you experience some strong unexpected emotions or if your birthmother does the same. it's normal. all these years of wondering and hoping -- and then - MIRACLE!!! you meet and it's wonderful, scary, and a little sad all at the same time.

i wish you the best of everything and am so happy things worked out so well for you!

Thank you all very much for the well wishes! We traded emails last night and before i went to bed, i sent her some pictures of me and my family. When i got up this morning, she had already sent me some pictures back! WOW! I LOOK SO MUCH LIKE HER!!! I also REALLY look like my little brother Matthew! She's supposed to call me again later today and explain who all's in the other pictures she sent! And no, my feet still haven't touched the ground yet! LOL! I passed up cloud 9 a LONG time ago...now i'm brushing the underside of Heaven!
