Nurture vs Nature study / reunited twins

Nurture vs nature study done in the 60's and 70's on identical twins raised apart in adoptive homes. The link is to the website the story is on. Hopefully it is okay to post links.

Kind regards,
Dickons

I read the NPR story about the identical twins seperated at birth by "scientists" conducting an ......experiment.

This was in 1968 /69......I cannot even begin to express the sense of outrage that this piece of information has engendered within me.......how unbelievably cruel, how presumptive, how godlike those detached scientests thought them selves....

I hear about things like this and I am reminded, I didn't trust the gov't and it's minions then (I was 18 in 1968, and rabidly against the war....not the soldiers, most of them had no choice, not back then....it was the time of the draft) and this is typical of that era.

.....the things that are perpetrated upon babies, and the unwitting but earnestly desiring to give their children a decent life, mothers, sometimes.......well it raises my blood pressure.......

I do not understand the treatment of humans as if they were labratory animals......no... frankly, I don't much care for the treatment of labratory animals like they were labratory animals.......

ah well, let us remain vigilent, the gov't and Big business, they do not think of us as humans.....at least we should think of each other as such......be nice to someone today....
