Ok, so just wanted to post that I have found my son through this site. My son's adoptive aunt (also an adoptee) posted her info, and those of the rest of the adoptees in the family on this site and forgot about it. A wonderful person knew how to actually look at the reunion site (I did not, I kept putting in the birthdate and sex, apparently, you just need to put in the date and you will see more hits!) contacted me and told me to look at the posting, it was just to close of a circumstance to not be a match. She acted as an intermeddiary for me, I was too nervous. The aunt was so thrilled and they exchanged info and she called me! I have not talked to my birthson yet, but have lots of info about him and it is so hard not to just jump on a plane and go look at him! Bottom line, THIS SITE WORKS. Please enter information in as much detail as possible, it helps, even one sentence can make everything click!!!! Thank you!

Congradulations. I am so happy for you. I also found my son and am in reunion 3 years. Since that time, he has made me a grandma. Take it slow, I know what emotions you are going to feel but thru the healing process it is well worth it.
