Talking Simply amazing

Sometime in July this year I decided to try to find my second son surrendered for adoption. I registered with IL Dept of Health Reunion Registry and found out I didn't remember the correct birth date. On Sept. 6 I rec'd a letter from them with the correct date, June 27, 1969. The same nisght I got the letter I was chatting with my oldest son and his partner, I told them the date, we found adoption.com, I entered the date and found a match. I sent that info to my son's partner, he searched some more and my son searched myspace for the name. He found someone, looked at the pix and nearly fell off his chair and said 'I think we have found him'. The resemblance was uncanny! I looked at the myspace page, bravely sent a msg asking if he was the same one registered at adoption.com and to make a long story short - he is my son!
Within 9 hours of getting the letter with the correct birthdate we had found each other! Since then, he has obtained his original birth certificate, we have had a f2f, we chat on IM nearly every day, and are seeing each other again tomorrow!
I am overwhelmed with happiness!

Sudden reunions...

Hi, Sister7... hope all is going well for you. I had a "sudden" reunion, too. How long have you been in reunion with the first son you found? What has your experience been like so far? Have your sons met each other yet? Wow! This is so exciting!!!

Have a great visit today!

Best wishes,
Susan

What is a f2f?! I was reading your posts and read where you reconnected with your sons. SUCH A BLESSING! If my sons were gay I'd love them unconditionally also. I had a gay uncle and have 2 gay cousins. Love them to pieces. UNCONDITIONALLY!

I'm SOOOO happy for you all!
Hugs & Blessings!
Annie
