A couple of years ago, I filled out profile information on this website hoping that I would find my birthson that I placed through a closed adoption (as were the laws at that time) 22 years ago. Earlier this summer, he ran across this website, put in his information, and within a couple of minutes found me! He contacted me, and we were able to verify our information within a couple of days. We had a joyous and nervous first reunion and then another with my husband, children and parents.

We are taking the first, tenative steps to be parts of each other's lives. We are very blessed to have had an extremely positive reunion experience -- I couldn't have asked for better.

Congratulations on your reunion. I'm so glad it has been a very positive experience. My bmom and I were reunited in May thru Adoption.com registry also. I had registered last year and over a year later, I was found.

I'm very grateful that this site is available as I'm sure you are also.

In January of this year I found a profile on this website that my bson posted in 2005. We have been in communication since and now, six months later, we are currently in the middle of our first F2F -- which is going splendidly, I might add.
